BPower a.s., part of the BITZER Group, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the relevant parts of the Triogen Organic Rankine Cycle technology platform, including associated know-how, technical records, operating materials and the accumulated experience arising from the development and operation of the Triogen ORC installed base. This step builds on more than a decade of successful collaboration between BPower and Triogen and marks an important foundation for the future development of the ORC business.
The transaction is intended to preserve and continue the acquired Triogen ORC technology and associated know-how, maintain the technical and operational knowledge associated with the installed base, and provide a stable foundation for future customer support, service, product continuity and commercial development.
As part of the transition, Mark Davies and Wim Reuling will provide support to BPower during the transition period to ensure that the technical, operational, commercial, customer and project knowledge associated with the platform is transferred in an orderly and practical manner.
For existing customers, suppliers and partners, the immediate objective is continuity. BPower intends to use the acquired parts of the Triogen ORC platform for the future commercialization and development of its ORC offering, while the transition process has been structured to preserve the existing technical knowledge, installed-base experience, customer and project history, and operating context associated with the Triogen platform.
BPower believes that the Triogen ORC platform represents a valuable and proven technology base and an excellent complement to BPower’s existing ORC technologies. Within the broader BITZER Group environment, BPower looks forward to further developing the platform and unlocking its future potential.

“BPower sees this transaction as an attractive opportunity to expand its technology portfolio and offer highly efficient, economically compelling solutions for a broader range of waste heat recovery applications. With the addition of the acquired Triogen ORC technology and know-how, BPower is now even better positioned to convert both high-temperature and low-temperature waste heat into electricity, while ensuring continuity for customers and partners.”
Mark Davies, MD of Triogen Group BV
“We are pleased that the Triogen ORC technology and associated know-how will continue under BPower’s ownership. BPower has been closely involved with Triogen and its technology for more than a decade, and we believe the transaction provides a strong industrial platform from which to support the existing installed base, preserve the accumulated know-how and continue the future development and commercialization of the technology.”
